Women in Motor-sport: Meet the Drivers

Welcome to the Driver Profiles area of Action Resources'  Women in Motor-Sport Section of this website. Here we introduce those female competitors, potentially in all forms of motor-sport competition, who are looking to change the perception of motor-racing, rallying, drag-racing, karting, grass-track, hill-climbing and motor-cycle sport as activities normally dominated by males. In fact, it will not be until women are seen to be competing more frequently and successfully against men in our sport on a regular basis that we will at last be able to attract the broad trackside and tv audiences that investors, backers and commercial partners require in order to be able to justify financial support. It's chicken and egg. Without female participation, there is little chance of bringing in significant new "sponsors" but, without the backers, the likelihood is that the majority of women will continue to struggle to make their mark. We have to seek to break this vicious circle.

We are intent on expanding this part of our site to showcase the talented, determined and committed women who are now in the sport - all of whom understand the imperative of building strong and enduring networks with their strategic partners.
