Teambuilding, individual & corporate development with Sam Hignett's Team JOTA
Sam Hignett of Team Jota is working with Janet and Roger Phillips of HR specialists, Action Resources Ltd (ARL), to offer teambuilding, learning and personal development experiences for companies and organisations keen to create and sustain competitive advantage.
The activities - built around challenging motor-racing themes - may be tailored to suit identified individual, group and/or corporate development needs and we offer the opportunity for reflection and feedback after the event in order to maximise benefits from the learning process.
So, imagine yourself and your colleagues or your team at work in control of the strategy for one of the most technologically advanced sports-racing cars competing in the world’s classic events.
Situated in the Kent countryside, 40 miles from Central London, Team Jota is one of the world’s most competitive Le Mans 24-hour endurance race, Porsche Cup and V de V teams and now, in 2010, Jota Sport has formed an alliance with Aston Martin Racing no less to enter GT and (potentially) Prototype cars in endurance races across the globe. Sam Hancock has already returned to Le Mans at the wheel of one of the Gulf-liveried Aston Martin LMP1 machines and is due to race again for Aston Martin in the Silverstone 1000kms, 11-12 September 2010.
Roles within Team Jota encompass many varied skills. Races may be won or lost by the actions of any one individual; they may also be forfeited because of poor skills integration.
The key to success has been exceptional teamwork, through excellent communication and proper understanding of the role of each and every individual. Operating in one of the most stressful and pressurised environments around, Team Jota has honed its pooled skills in the pursuit of perfection - and you too can benefit from the lessons learnt.
These learning events cater for everyone – irrespective of the individual participant's level of fitness, age or status. It is not about proving physical strength or stamina but it is concerned with effective teambuilding and finding the most productive and efficient way to achieve the expected outcomes.
Team Jota can cater for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 people. The cost for the day is £1,950 + VAT, which includes a buffet lunch. A more condensed staff training evening is also available for £975 + VAT.
An outline sample timetable is available upon request. However, Team Jota and Action Resources Ltd are happy to discuss the development of bespoke programmes to meet specific needs. If you are a Company Training and Development Manager or Adviser, Janet or Roger Phillips are available to discuss with you how teambuilding with Team Jota might meet some of the current people development objectives within your particular organisation.
