Record breaking HEALEY

Denis Welch Motorsport is offering for sale the very special Austin Healey 100S constructed for Martyn Corfield to challenge a number of international speed and endurance records at the end of 2009. During its record-breaking run at the Millbrook proving ground, the car recorded a fastest lap of 153.22mph and completed 1,000kms at an average of 148.22mph. This car currently holds 11 UK records and 6 international records (subject to confirmation from the FIA). Road legal and ready for use, a new owner might want to undertake further speed and distance records or, indeed, return the car to its spiritual home of Bonneville Salt Flats in the USA later this year perhaps to attempt the record again.
